For marine renewable energy to become competitive with other energy generation systems,technical advances must reduce the risks and lifecycle costs associated with capital expenditures(CAPEX) and operational expenditures (OPEX). By working with marine renewable energy systems operating in the water, the development of industrial infrastructure and technological solutions will be stimulated. EN3 must use this initial deployment experience to develop effective operational expertise as quickly as possible.
