Global warming is attributed to anthropogenic activities. The gas predominantly responsible for global warming is CO2. Reduction of CO2 is predominantly through conservation of energy. Recently introduced IMO rules EEDI (New builds) and SEEMP (EEOI) (all existing and new builds) are expected to contribute to the reduction of CO2. Energy conservation and energy efficiency contributes to cost cutting in addition to the reduction of fuel bill. Many energy saving levers can be exploited to reap the double benefits of reduced CO2 and reduced cost. We provide holistic consultancy for the energy conservation.
