PM
Particulate matters are health hazards. Smaller particles <2.5u is more dangerous than that of 25u. Forthcoming unilateral regulations will demand reduction of PMs. Reduction of PM starts at the combustion efficiency of the fuel burnt. Afterburning of fuel causes increased PPM, whereas afterburning through late injection is one of the mechanisms to reduce NOx. PM reduction is possible through choice of injectors, using emulsified fuel or scrubbing the flue gas. We provide support for such consultancies.
